Who are Birdie & GG?
We are a wife and wife team. Our real names are Inga & Jennifer but our grandson calls us Birdie and GG. We will answer to either.
Can I commision Birdie & GG to do a custom designed bag?
Absolutely! We love to try new things and hear creative ideas. Let's schedule a phone consult where we can discuss your thoughts and we will put together something fantastic.
What kind of leather do you use?
We use a variety of leathers and do our best to explain what an item is made with in the listing. Some of our favorites are chap leathers, pull-up leathers, deerskin, veg-tan, and more. Many of our bags are also lined with a leather and often suede.
What kind of hardware is used on the bags?
We love to re-use and recycle so some of the hardware we put on our bags is repurposed from other bags we pick up at thrift stores. Hardware details for each bag will be explained in the the item's description.
Will I receive the exact item as pictured on the website?
Yes, unless otherwise posted in the item's description. Please read all of the details of an item before you place your order. Some of the items on our site are made-to-order. Because all of the items are handcrafted and due to the nature of leather, it is important to be aware that there may be variations.
Can I pay by check or money order?
We only accept Paypal through our website for orders but we can accept a credit card over the phone if that suits you better.
After I place my order, how soon can I expect to recieve it?
Of course there are many variables that affect shipping but if an item is in stock, it will go out within 2 business days after your order is processed. We ship priorty USPS. If your item is made to order, please allow 2 weeks for creation before shipment.
​Can I return my order for a refund?
Yes. Only unused items returned in their original state qualify for a refund. Please contact us and request a return authorization number prior to sending it back.
